Ekenywa Specialized Hospital is an advanced hospital providing elegant services using modern technology with the vision of availing improved health care services to the citizens of Tanzania and across the world. The dream was perceived and the hospital was founded by the late Dr. Loisiligaki Ole Lengine, a Consultant ENT Surgeon and Sr Endesh Ole Lengine, a Public Health Nursing officer. The hospital is currently headed by Sr Endesh Ole Lengine as a Managing Director. Back in 1994, Ekenywa Hospital was established as a dispensary, went through stages of transformation and evolution in the following years of hard work, and currently is a multi-specialist hospital. The center has been accredited as a specialized hospital from 07th December 2012 and then upgraded to a Regional referral hospital on 28th October 2014 by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

It offers medical services to patients who are residents of Dar es Salaam City and other regions across and outside the country.
